As per the official website of the University of Houston, international students are required to have an equivalent GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. These students are also expected to demonstrate a level of English language proficiency, for which the minimum score requirements are mentioned below: 

  • IELTS: 6.5 overall

  • TOEFL iBT: 79

  • Duolingo: 105

Please note that some UH programs might have higher score requirements.

Yes, while studying at Stanford University, international students can work part-time. To be eligible for on-campus employment, students must be enrolled full-time. They can only work up to 20 hours or fewer per week when the school is in session. But, during the holidays and vacations, students can work more than 20 hours per week.
