5.5 score in IELTS is unlikely to be enough for Indian students to get into NC A&T State Uni. For UG courses, the minimum IELTS score is 6.0. For PG courses, 6.5 is the minimum score.

Students can also submit other English test scores like TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo.

Yes, Indian students with a 2.8 GPA can get into NC A&T State Uni UG courses. Students with a GPA below 2.8 may also get in but will need strong scores in tests like SAT or ACT.

GPA is not the only requirement for Indian students at NCAT. A strong extracurricular profile and English proficiency is also important.

Yes, SCAD ranks at #15 in the 2026 QS subject rankings (Art and Design category). In the previous year, it was ranked at #13. There is some decline in the subject's ranking, still the university ranks among the Top 20 Universities in the world. In 2024 too, for the same course rankings, SVAC university ranked at #15

Yes, the NC A&T State Uni does allow Indian students to pay their fees in installments. Students can enrol in monthly payment plans that come with no interest. To enrol in a instalment plan at NCAT North Carolina, an enrolment fee worth USD 40 (INR 3.7 K) applies.

As per Payscale.com, the average salary of SVAC University is USD 68,000 or INR 64.3 L. The job outcomes rate for Savannah College of Art and Design is 99%, within 12 months of the graduation. For Master's graduates, the placement rate is 99%. Whereas for the Bachelor's graduates, SVAC Uni career outcome rate is 98%.

Yes, tuition and fees for Indian students increases every year by around 3% to 6.5%. Tuition fees for some courses are locked, however, these are not available to students from India.

Other costs like the student insurance costs, and books & supplies expenses may alos increase every year.

Indian students should ideally keep a budget of USD 40,288 (INR 38.1 Lakhs) for 1 year of studies and living in North Carolina.
