According to Northeastern University enrollment data for 2023-24, university has 38,000+ students who have enrolled. Out of total number of students, there are 21,000+ students who are UG and 17,000+ are graduates. Northeastern University is known to have one of the largest student communities in USA and has offered resources, support and guidance to receive in their academic journey. Northeastern University was founded in 1898 first under Evening Institute for Younger Men. The university has also gone through many changes in the past with it named as Northeastern College in 1916 and finally named as Northeastern University in 1922.  

The Oakland campus of Northeastern University has the same acceptance rate as the main campus as a part of the Northeastern University system. The campus has received an overall acceptance rate of around 5.2% which makes it extremely selective for international student admissions.  

The students who have received admission to the Northeastern Oakland campus can change to Northeastern main Boston campus after their first year or they can choose to continue to study at the Oakland campus.
