Acceptance rate at Duke stands at around 4.8%. That of UCLA stands at around 9%. It can be said that both are very picky at granting admission to students with Duke being marginally more selective.

As per the official source, Hofstra University expects an average GPA score of 3.2 on a 4-point scale from international students. Students who get up to a 3.2 GPA or above get waived for standardized test scores. However, as per the student profile of the class of 2028, an average GPA of 3.8 was scored by the students who were admitted. The GRE scores at Hofstra University are not mandatory to submit. The university provides test options for the same. However, students prefer to submit their GRE scores along with the other requirements to improve their selection probability. The other requirements for international students include transcripts from previously attended universities, English language requirements, GPA scores, letters of recommendation, essays, resumes, and more.
