Following are the scholarships offered at Walsh College- 

Undergraduate Academic Excellence Award (AEA)- 

  • Awarded to new undergraduate students with a 3.75 or higher admission grade point average.
  • Up to $10,000 award prorated each semester based on enrollment.
  • Requires a minimum of part-time enrollment (6 undergraduate credits).

Graduate Academic Excellence Award (AEG)- 

  • Awarded to new graduate students with a 3.75 or higher admission grade point average.
  • Up to $6,000 award; flat rate of $1,000 per semester up to a maximum of 6 semesters.
  • Requires a minimum of part-time enrollment (3 graduate credits).

Indian students can find several scholarships offered with Northern Virginia Community College, the International Student Scholarship offering up to USD 1,000 (INR 83,000) per semester. Each of these scholarships each ranges from up to USD 2,000, approximately INR 1.66 Lacs per year (the NOVA Foundation Scholarship). The annual amount of Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship is about USD 40,000, about INR 33.2 lakhs. If you are an Indian student applying for these scholarships, you must have your application submitted not later than the deadline (usually around March or October), have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit
