Even though Salem State University conducts their admissions on a rolling cycle, there are actually key deadlines for applicants. For Fall semester, the application deadline is August 1; for Spring semester, it is December 1. Freshman applicants have an early action deadline of November 15. For summer admission, the deadline is May 1. The firm deadlines for nursing programme applicants are February 1 for freshmen and November 1 for transfers. Campus life gives experiences such as mingling with fellow students, attendance of events, and easily accessing academic resources. The "campus life," however, is not quite similar to bigger universities, because the Design Institute of San Diego is a small college. Staying off-campus could give more independence and privacy, and it might even cost less, but there will be no close community feel that on-campus living will give.
