If you choose to live in campus so it will help you in various fields
- On-campus housing is close to classes, libraries, and student services
- living on-campus often means more opportunities to socialize with other students
- On-campus students often have direct access to resident advisors
- Many student events and activities are organized within or near the campus.
But there are some disadvantage
- Off-campus living offers more independence
- Depending on the area, off-campus housing may be more affordable

There are three types of student visa. F-1 visa for academic study, M-1 for vocational training and J-1 for exchange programs.

The last dates for submitting applications for foreign students at New York University (NYU) are as follow:

On-campus living presents vibrant and accessible campus life along with a greater immersion into university culture at the same time allowing easier participation in events and activities.
