Failing or getting a low grade (like a D or F) at Fresno State directly impacts a student's GPA and can lead to loss of financial aid or academic probation. Students are allowed to retake the course and improve their grade in the same.
A GPA of 2.0 is usually considered the bare minimum that students need to study at Fresno State. Falling below this GPA can lead to an Academic Notice/Warning.
Repeatedly failing may lead to academic disqualification.

- Married

Student-athletes receiving athletic scholarships, are required to live on-campus for the first 6 semesters (unless they reside with a parent/guardian within a 25-mile straight-line radius).

No, joining a club or society will not compromise a student's academics at Gannon Uni, as long as one is able to manage their time well. Many societies have strict GPA and study hour requirements for students to clear before being allowed in.
Being a part of a student club/society can have a very positive effect on a student's skills and resume.

Students are not required to submit a separate scholarship application for most financial aids at Gannon Uni. Students are automatically considered for financial aid based on their admission application.
However, some select scholarships such as the Schuster Memorial Music Award and the Schuster Patron of the Arts do ask for a separate application.
Our Shiksha Study Abroad counsellors can guide students on which scholarship requires a separate application.
