Yes, you have a good chance of getting a course in Pantnagar University with a rank of 2776 in the general category and Uttarakhand domicile. The cutoff for general category students with Uttarakhand domicile in the previous year was 2966. However, it is important to note that the cutoffs vary every year and it is not possible to guarantee admission to any particular course. You will need to participate in the Pantnagar University counselling process to secure a seat in a course.

The mess food is pretty good. Earlier it was government governed mess but now we have private contractors of mess. They provide food that's of good quality. Also if you find any discrememncy or any alterations in food items you can register complaint. We have food society and incharge for the same. You can have suggestions for the menu and also ensure that the quality of the food is good.

- Actually you really don't fail in Internals. There are 2 internals (pre finals) and last sem exams (externals). Both the pre finals are of 25 marks each and the externals is of 50 marks. So the total subject holds for 100 marks and to pass an exam you have to score 50 . So try to be considerate about your studies. In case a student fails, they are suppose to appear for the exam the next year with his/her juniors with a compensation fee of 1000rs. Also you can also have an year back if your attendance is found shorter than75%.
PS: the rules and protocols have been strict now than ever before.

If you are talking about the strength in numbers then .there are about 5-6k students enrolled in the whole University. Since there are 8 colleges and about 100-200 students in every batch.
Else, the students are very talented, dedicated and hard working. Most of the clubs and societies are headed by students only. They are passionate about what they do and feel. They have passed an entrance exam or JEE Mains (for btech), hence you may infer that they are both intelligent and creative.
Hope it helps.
