I can only give you an insight into IBS Dehradun as I am presently studying there. You can yourself compare different genuine reviews of the mentioned colleges and make your own judgement.
Firstly ICFAI Business School (IBS) , Dehradun offers M.B.A degree which carries more value than PGDM Degree . If you do PGDM you won't be able to do Phd if suddenly you feel you have the potential to actually put Doctorate before your name. You have to again spend money and get a proper MBA Degree.
This year i.e 2021 our seniors got an Average CTC 5.62 and Highest CTC received this year was 10.62 from our IBS Dehradun Campus. Top 10% students of our college got an Average CTC of 8.60. 97% of students got job via campus recruitment in 2021. Talking of internships, every student gets an opportunity to work as an intern in many reputed companies but over here you also get an added advantage. The college personally offers 6 months internship opportunity to 6 selected students after several rounds of interview with a monthly stipend, so you can earn while you study and meet your own living expense without bothering your parents about every little thing. There are sessions with top industry personnel . Even International speakers come and takes webinars. As a student I can say there will be so many webinars that you yourself may get tired but our teachers won't get tired arranging them for you. That's the kind of positive energy teachers give at IBS Dehradun. To become a good manager you need such role models in life from whom you learn not to give up and take challenges in life.
Teachers are very helpful. Classes of Sanjeev sir and Raghvendra Sir is the best. They engage students so well even in online classes. There is an online portal where your attendance, marks, daily class notes gets uploaded, you can check notice of upcoming college events, exams( even class tests ) in their online notice board. We do a lot of Case Studies which helps a lot in understanding and comprehending different situations.

I am not quite aware of Petroleum Engineering at UPES but I must say Petroleum Engineering is purely centered on integrated approaches of Sciences and Engineering practices in the Oil & Gas Industry. This involves technological undertakings and emphasis of the same in the application of the concepts in Petroleum Exploration, Drilling, Production, Reservoir Engineering, Pipeline Engineering, Refinery Operations, LNG Value Chain, Petrochemicals and Natural Gas Processing. Students in the petroleum engineering programme will be engaged on a holistic journey of the entire value chain of the O&G Industry beginning from the exploration of hydrocarbons to the supply of finished petroleum products to end-users. I must say that Lovely Professional University is one of the best University. It involves keeping this in mind, bifurcated options of Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream subjects are offered in specialised pathways of this programme.
