BHU offers entrance-based admissions to all its UG and PG courses. To get admission to any UG and PG courses, it is compulsory to appear for the CUET-UG/ CUET-PG entrance exams. Further, the university also accepts other entrance exam such as NEET, GATE, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. Hence, candidates are required to appear for the accepted entrance-exam and also meet the course-specific eligibility for admission at BHU.

The admissions for the BVSc programme have already been closed at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for the year 2024. The online registration for the B. V. Sc. course was held until September 29, 2024. The admissions for this course are entirely based on the NEET 2024 results through the merit list method.

To be eligible for a B.Sc in Chemistry at BHU you need to have at least 55% aggregate marks in the class 12th examination. 

You should meet the cutoff for BHU in CUET UG or BHU UET.

Then, you have to go through the counselling process of CUET UG and BHU UET to get admitted.

the cutoff of M.Sc. Food Technology at BHU in cuet PG is 190-220  aggregate scores for general candidates. and for being eligible you have to have at least a 50% score in graduation however, candidates from the reserved category may receive 5% relaxation.

and for BHU-PET the general cutoff rank is 79 for the general category.

Candidates must pass BSc in relevant subjects to apply for BHU MSc programme. Candidates are selected for MSc based on CUET-PG score followed by the counselling rounds. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

The total tuition fee for BHU MSc programme ranges between INR 6,700 and INR 40,000. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates have to pay the course fee at the time of admission to confirm their seat in the university. On paying BHU fee, students can expect an average package ranging between INR 54,000 and INR 12 lakh.
