College of Engineering and Management Kolaghat is a college affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bangal & approaved by AICTE. It is a private college and one of the few colleges to receive World Bank funded TEQIP II project under Govt. Aided category.

The BSc in Interior and Furniture Design at LPU spans 3 years (6 semesters) with programme fee charged per semester. Eligible students receive scholarships up to 50% based on LPUNEST scores or qualifying exam performance, reducing the applicable fee accordingly. Examination fees apply separately. Total tuition often cited around INR 8.4 lakhs before scholarships, though exact per-semester amount listed on official site without fixed figure shown publicly. Hostel adds extra costs.

To start with your application, register yourself for WBJEE through the official state-level portal. There is no separate initial application on the university's portal. The three-step process is as follows:

• Profile Creation: Fill in your personal and academic details (Class 10th and 12th) and create your profile as a candidate.
• Fee Payment: Pay the non-refundable application fees of INR 500 (General candidates) and INR 400 (Reserved candidates).
• Document Upload: Make sure that all the mark sheets and other required documents are properly uploaded before the deadline to get your spot on the merit list.

Jadavpur University maintains a very strict policy of reservations, where 90% of the total engineering seats are reserved for students who hold a domicile certificate of West Bengal. Rest 10% of seats are for students from the rest of India under the All-India quota. Such high percentage of reservations for home-state students makes the competition for the All-India seats incredibly high.

The university offers 1,355 seats for the BE course, distributed across 16+ departments. The maximum student intake is offered in the "core" departments: Mechanical Engineering (148 seats), Electrical Engineering (148 seats), and Civil Engineering (147 seats). The seat matrix is planned in a way that the departments are supported by adequate lab facilities and faculty expertise.

Jadavpur University WBJEE cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BE and BTech course branches and the BPharma course for various AI and HS quota categories.

For the OBC HS quota, the overall cutoff ranged from 772 to 41254. For this quota, BTech CSE emerged as the most competitive course for admission, with the first round cutoff being 772 and last round rank being 1046.

Candidates need to appear for an admission test conducted by Faculty of Arts, Jadavpur University for admission to MA.
