Both the mentioned open universities can be compared based on their course fees, degree value, students reviews, curriculum, etc. In fee comparison, NSOU BA (H) course is cheaper with tuition fees of INR 9,900, while BA (H) at Odisha State Open University is INR 11,700. There is not a huge fee difference. Apart from this, NSOU is rated 4.1 out of 5 and OSOU is rated 3.2 out of 5 by the verified student reviews on Shiksha.

Students applying for their desired course at Seamedu-TIU can submit their profile for admission consideration at the official website. Candidates must obtain valid scoring in their previous qualifying examination as these would be presented at the time of admission. On the application form, the applicants must submit personal details like name, phone number, email, address details, etc. After specifying their course-preference and submitting the form, the student would further need to furnish their academic or professional background.

Although the cutoff will be calculated after the declaration of results but according to past trends, cutoff for General students was around 90 percentile, so assuming this year the same trend will be followed. However getting addmission in good institute doesn't depends on only CAT score. You need to score good marks in class 10th and 12th and graduation as well. Personal interview plays a major role for getting admission.

I don't know about the placement scenarios for PhD from TIFR Bombay, but for IIT Kharagpur, pursuing PhD can be a very good choice, as IIT Kharagpur has Top Research facilities. if you want to do research, you will get the best resources of the country, and also many PhD students get placed during the Campus placement cycle, so there are various Job opportunities. And, a PhD from IIT KGP is flexible than any other institute.
