This course has been discontinued as per July 2025. Hence you cannot apply for it .

If you are passionate about this course you can try pursuing it in other universities.for example Rabindra Bharati university, Jadavpur University.

If you already have a B.LIB.I.Sc Kalyani university still offers masters.Admission requires entrance exam and its merit based too.

In West Bengal, a MBBS degree is required after which an MS or DNB in General Surgery should be acquired in order to secure admission to an M.Ch. or DrNB in Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS). The main entrance test is NEET SS (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Super Specialty) and you must succeed obtaining a good score in this test. Seats after NEET SS are then allotted by MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) in All India Quota and state-wise counselling of West Bengal quota seats is possible. The most important centers providing CTVS in West Bengal are Medical College Kolkata, IPGMER and NRS Medical College.
