No students can not get direct admission at Bengal Institute of Business Studies. The institute accepts admission based on merit and entrance exams. BIBS Kolkata admission is based on entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT followed by a Personal Interview. Aspiring candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college.

Yes, BIBS Kolkata has a summer internship programme in colaboration with its strategic partners (WEBEL, DMI Ireland etc.) candidates can apply for summer intersnhips after the end of second semester. The internships at BIBS Kolkata are lucrative and the stipend offered by internships at the institute can go up to INR 1 Lacs per month. Yes, candidates can get into BIBS Kolkata MBA with a 60%ile in CAT. BIBS Kolkata admission takes place through the merit secured in the CAT exam, and the cutoff in 2023 in the MBA programme was 60%ile in the overall cattegory. The cutoff for other categories was 40%ile. Therefore, if candidates are applying for admission in the institute they should make sure they have cleared cutoffs of the CAT exam.
