When compared with nearby law institutes offering BCom LLB (hons) courses such as Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R & D Institute of Science and Technology and Vinayaka Mission's Law School, SRM IST Kattankulathur is more expensive.

SRM IST Kattankulathur charges INR 15 Lacs while other two institutes cost INR 7.25 Lacs and INR 10 Lacs respectively.

No rules have been mentioned stating whether candidates can apply for SRM IST Kattankulathur BCom LLB (hons) admission before receiving Class 12 board exams results. Thus, candidates should contact admission desk to get any confirmation.

Generally, institutes where admissions are entrance based do allow candidates to apply for admissions before Class 12 board exam results have been announced.

  • Class 10th and Class 12th passing certificate and marksheet
  • ID And address proof
  • Transfer / Migration certificate

Candidates are required to pay INR 1,200 as application fees for submitting their SRM IST Kattankulathur BCom LLB (hons) admission form. This fees once paid will be non refundable under all circumstances. This fees is paid separately from CLAT-UG registration fees.

SRM IST Kattankulathur BCom LLB (hons) feesis INR 15 Lacs for academic year 2026. Candidates will be charged this fees at INR 3 Lacs per annum throughout its five year course duration.

If a candidate chooses to avail hostel service, they will be charged that fees separately from aforementioned amount.

Currently, admissions have progressed to personal interview rounds, whose dates have not been disclosed publicly. Candidates who want to apply for BCom LLB (hons) course must wait for 2027 admission phases to begin.

No, law is not a mandatory subject to fulfill SRM IST Kattankulathur BCom LLB (hons) eligibility criteria when passing from Class 12th. Candidates only need to pass Class 12 board exams with a minimum aggregate 60% from a recognised board. Their chosen stream or set of subjects in Class 12th are irrelevant.

SRM IST Kattankulathur BCom LLB (hons) admission accepts SRMJEEL scores which is conducted by SRM School of Law. However, candidates who have appeared in CLAT-UG can apply for admission through that exam's score. Appearing in either one of these exams is a mandatory requirement.
