BTech is one of the most desired courses present in India. BTech being the most preferred course, has the highest level of competition. JEE Main is the commonly accepted entrance exam for admission to the BTech course. Similarly, IIEST Shibpur also accepts JEE Main scores for admission to the BTech course. Students must foresee the coming cut by looking at the past year's cut-off details so that preparation can be done accordingly.

Hi,

No, you probably won't be able to get admission to Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College (JGEC) with a WBJEE rank of 20,718 in 2024:

Closing rank
B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, 1747 (general category)
B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, 2724 (general category)
B.Tech. in Information Technology, 2335 (general category)
B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, 3446 (general category)

The last-round closing ranks for admission to JGEC in 2024 ranged from 2,157 to 5,321. The B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most popular choice among engineering aspirants.

Thanks!

Cracking WBJEE in six months for Calcutta University for BE/ BTech admission depends on candidates' preparation and a well-structured study plan. WBJEE is not so tough entrance examination. So, if candidates focus on the WBJEE syllabus for the BTech course thoroughly can definitely crack WBJEE for admissions to BTech at CU.
