The quality of food at the mess in DIATM, Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology and Management, is assumed to be average. According to the students, they get food four times a day. They have breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner facilities. It is very few reviews saying that it is good, but not all food is good. The hostel facilities also incorporate common areas meant for relaxation and indoor games to create a conducive environment for dwelling. Generally, although the quality of food is not very exceptional, it can be said to be satisfactory for a student who dwells on campus in terms of provision of nutrition.

Yes, DIATM also had proper placement cell taking care of placements. It has liaised with different industries for campus recruitment drives, internships, and workshops. So, in session 2024, DIATM set records with the biggest recruiters of TCS, Amazon, and Tech Mahindra coming aboard to recruit from college. The highest package was? 10 LPA, and average was? 5.5 LPA. Although placement was found to have some problems in attracting diversified companies towards placement, the placement cell still tries hard to increase employability and career options for students.
