The institute does not offer direct admissions. Admission to the B.Tech courses is given through the scores or ranks in the JEE Main/WBJEE. However, there are lateral entry opportunities to join the second year of B.Tech.

B.Tech First Year:

Admission to Abacus Institute of Engineering and Management is strictly on rank in JEE Main or WBJEE, category, and the branch one desires to pursue. This is a good college with decent placements, however, with very high competition for popular branches. One would advise checking the previous year's cut-offs and talking to your admission office to better understand your chances.

IIHM Kolkata admissions are ongoing. The applications are open for eCHAT exam. The next exam will be conducted on Nov 9, 2024. The exam is conducted throghout the year. Candidates can book their slot to appear for the exam as per its schedule.
