No, a student scoring less that 60% in their bachelor's degree is not eligible to apply for MCA admission at Jadavpur University if they belong to the general/unreserved category. For candidates belonging to the general category, the minimum marks required in the UG degree is 60%. However, for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories (SC/ST) the minimum aggregate required in graduation is 45%. The selection is based on the scores of WEBJEE JECA. In case a candidate fails to get admission at Jadavpur University, they can check out other colleges offering MCA. They can check out the colleges offering Online MCA courses.

The BTech stream-wise placement data has not been made public by the university. Based on the aggregate data presented in the NIRF report 2024, 199 students were placed at the Calcutta University BTech placements in 2023, out of 289 total. No, students can not get direct admission at ICARE Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. Students must qualify the national entrance exam such as NEET, NEET PG, West Bengal NEET, West Bengal NEET PG, and others. It is mandatory for studnets to qualify the national entrance exam and meet the eligibility criteria set by the univeristy.
