Candidates who are selected for MBA course at IIM Calcutta have to pay an accepted fee on receiving the admission offer. The acceptance or the commitment fee for MBA is INR 2 lakh. Besides, candidates also need to pay other three installments to pay the complete MBA fee. The security deposit paid by the candidates at the time of admission is refunded on the completion of the course.

The University has not released the placement rate achieved over the past three years. However, the 100% placement data is only possible, if each of the BA students achieves decent scores in their academics, performs well in interviews, maintains attendance, and other factors are also responsibe. As per the official data more than 1,750 students were placed since the inception of the Amity Centre for Career Development. Yes, IIM Calcutta fee for MBA is high. The total tuition fee for IIMC MBA is INR 25 lakh. However, the placement opportunities have increased the ROI of MBA course. Students pursuing an MBA are offered highest package up to INR 1.2 crore per annum.

BA students who are eligible for the Sports Scholarships are given admission on the fast track. That means they do not have to appear for the Sports Trial and Interview and their admission is done based on their application form and assessment of sports certificates for the last three years. The selection for the BA course is based on CUET UG scores. Additionally, aspirants must also fulfil the eligibility requirements for admission to the BA course. They should complete their Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate, to apply for a BA course. Those passing Class 12 with at least 80% aggregate are eligible for direct admission to the BA course. Otherwise, candidates are required to get valid scores in CUET.
