It is described as a “Knowledge Hub of Global Excellence” It has good infrastructure and professors with industrial experience. the school also received a high ratinng of 5.0.
The Institute is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). The college has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
So, I think yes it is good as future business School

It is difficult to determine whether Sister Nivedita University is better than IMS University overall. Sister Nivedita University is a private university located in Kolkata, established in 2018. On the official website, there is no mention of the minimum marks needed for MBA at IIHM Kolkata in 2023. But in order to be admitted to its MBA programme, the institute usually needs a minimum score on tests like the CAT, XAT, MAH-CET, MAT, or DAT. The minimum marks for MBA is to have passed graduation with and aggregate of 50% from a recognised university.

NIPS Kolkata offers B.Sc in four specializations. The seat intake for each course varies as per the seat availability and applicants. Collectively, NIPS Kolkat aoffers 180 seats for B.Sc. Thus, a total of 180 students can do B.Sc at NIPS, Kolkata.

No, you are unable to directly join both New Media and NIPS. For those with an interest in neural information processing systems—which include computer vision, natural language processing, and robotics—NIPS is a professional society. It doesn't contain any content about social media, video games, or other interactive media, nor does it have a dedicated "New Media" group. Nonetheless, NIPS hosts a number of yearly workshops and conferences covering a broad range of AI and machine learning subjects.
