Columbia College

In order to be eligible for a programme at Columbia College, every international applicant needs to fulfill certain program-specific as well as English language proficiency requirements.

The eligibility requirement for university transfer programme includes a minimum of 75 per cent average on the best four academic Grade 12 courses (State Boards and National Open School) and a minimum of 70 per cent average (CBSE and ISCE). Indian students must have completed their Grade 12, no more than two years before applying to Columbia College. Students who will apply on the strength of a Polytechnic Diploma must have a 75 per cent average on all coursework. 

For application, Columbia College requires the following documents:

• Transcripts of Study of the most recent school results
• High school graduation certificate (for applicants to university programs)
• Copy of the personal information page in candidate’s passport
• Scorecard of English Proficiency test (IELTS Academic, TOEFL)

Columbia College’s Main Campus is a five-story, 73,000 square foot building just east of Vancouver’s downtown core at 438 Terminal Avenue. The building provides well-equipped facilities to students and staff, including Science laboratories (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Physics), a library, and student lounges. The campus features a well-maintained environment for the staff, students, and faculty. In September 2017, Columbia College opened a new campus building, the North Campus, which is situated just east of the downtown Vancouver's heart and False Creek's natural waterways. It serves English for Academic Purposes and Columbia College High School students. Additionally, it has all the essential facilities that ensure a better learning environment.
