Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED K) conducts a state-level examination called COMEDK UGET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) to offer admissions to interested candidates in engineering and medical degree courses offered by colleges/institutes that are affiliated to COMEDK. A Bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA and 60 percentile and more in any one test. I.e CAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT/ATMA is required for an admission to Institute of Public Enterprise(IPE).
For COMEDK, the candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board or University by state or central government.

You can go through the COMEDK exam but for being a general candidate you need to submit your local or Indian address proof if you have.
For any else query you can go through helpline of COMEDK provided on it's website (www.comedk.org).

Hello Akshay,
Yeah, you can participate in the counselling process,however you will not get any good colleges,so try via management quota if you are inclined to take admission in Bangalore only.

COMEDK (UGET) eligibility criteria for B.Tech.
Aspirants of COMEDK UGET 2017, who belong to the general category must have passed class XII or 2nd pre-university course/certificate (PUC) or equivalent examination from a recognised board or university by state or central government in India with a minimum of 45% aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics.
SC, ST and OBC aspirants must have secured a minimum of 40 percent marks in class XII or equivalent examination with PCM from a recognised board or university.
The candidates must have studied physics, mathematics, English as compulsory subjects with chemistry/biology/biotechnology
