The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka, which is responsible for conducting the COMEDK UGET exam, has released the COMEDK syllabus 2026 on its website, comedk.org. Candidates can refer to the subject-wise detailed syllabus for both classes 11th and 12th at Shiksha.

The COMEDK UGET syllabus is similar to that of JEE Mains. It is based on the CBSE syllabus for classes 11th and 12th. Those who are preparing for JEE Main will be able to attempt the COMEDK 2026 exam easily, though they must refer to the official syllabus and attempt structured mock tests and PYQs for the COMEDK exam.

The COMEDK UGET exam will only have 3 subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The COMEDK syllabus includes topics from both classes 11th and 12th.

There are 3 sections in the COMEDK UGET exam- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section has 60 questions and is worth 60 marks. This makes the total marks for COMEDK 180.

The COMEDK UGET 2026 will be conducted in online mode as a computer-based test at designated exam centres across India.

The Consortium conducts the COMEDK UGET 2026 exam once a year, on a single day. Though the exam is conducted in three shifts. The students will be allotted their shifts randomly.

The COMEDK UGET 2026 exam format has been announced by the conducting body. The exam will be held in online mode for 3 hours in online mode. Candidates will have to mark the correct answers on their computer systems.

To apply for COMEDK UGET, the General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually.

Candidates can apply for COMEDK UGET and Uni-Gauge together in a single form. For candidates who are applying to both COMEDK and Uni-Gauge, the application fee is Rs 3200.

COMEDK UGET application form 2026 was released on February 3 at 2 PM. Candidates had to fill the COMEDK 2026 application form online at comedk.org. The last date to submit the completed application form was extended to March 23.
