There can be several reasons for the rejection of the COMEDK UGET 2026 application form submitted by the candidates. It may include:

• Incomplete Application Form: Students must ensure to fill out the complete application form and provide all the details and documents required.

• Incorrect Information: Another reason for rejection can be attributed to providing wrong personal, academic, or category details. Candidates must also upload their documents as per the guidelines.

• Ineligibility to Apply: Candidates must ensure to meet the academic qualifications, age limit, or subject requirements as per the COMEDK eligibility criteria.

• Duplicate Applications: Only one application form has to be submitted per candidate. In case of any errors do not fill out a new form; rather, wait for the correction process.

• Non-Payment of Fee: Not completing the application fee payment or a failed transaction.

• Late Submission: Ensure timely submission of the COMEDK UGET application form.

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) releases the COMEDK UGET eligibility criteria through its notification. The COMEDK UGET exam is open to Indian citizens, OCI, and PIO candidates. OCI and PIO applicants must get an eligibility certificate from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, before applying online. Only those who fulfil the COMEDK 2026 eligibility criteria can apply for the exam. The eligibility criteria state:

• Qualified the second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognised by the State / Central Government with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English
• The General Merit candidates must score a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and pass these subjects individually.
