To just pass COMEDK as a general category student, you'll need at least 81 out of 180 (that's 45%). But that won't get you very far if you're gunning for top colleges or in-demand branches like CSE or ECE. For top-tier private colleges, aim for 160+ and a rank under 5,000. A score of 110–130 gets you into average private colleges. Safe to say—higher rank, better branch, better college.

For a rank above 64,000, consider exploring options like IIITs (other than the top ones), NITs (especially those with good CSE/AIML programs), and some well-regarded private institutions.

Yes, But consider this also-
local placement is decent, teaching is decent, overall exposure/brand is Not as Esteem-able as BMSCE/MSRIT/Amrita.
For vibrant city life, internships, coding culture, and good placements, MSRIT or BMSCE Bangalore CSE is an excellent choice.
In relation to the highest packages and national ranking, Amrita Coimbatore CSE is great if you don't mind a peaceful disciplined campus.
NIE/JSS Mysore are decent options if you don't mind Percentages and comparing to the numbers of 'big company' placements to some of the Bangalore Colleges above.

Generally, the COMEDK UGET exam is considered to be of moderate difficulty and slightly easier than KCET. While both exams cover the 10+2 syllabus, COMEDK is known for having more direct and formula-based questions, making it more accessible to students well-versed in the fundamentals. KCET, on the other hand, tends to have a slightly higher difficulty level, with questions that may be more analytical and challenging.

Now the registrations for BTech in COMEDK are closed.
However the possibilities of a few seats leftover might be possible which can be confirmed from the institution.
