The COMEDK UGET exam is not as tough as JEE Mains. Any student who is seriously preparing for the JEE Mains exam can crack the COMEDK exam with the right strategy and preparation resources.

It is not right to say which exam is better out of the two. Candidates should appear for either or both exams as per their goal. Appear for KCET if you seek admission to the top engineering colleges in Karnataka for the government quota seats. For admission to top colleges through the private quota, appear for COMEDK UGET.

No. The COMEDK UGET exam is not harder compared to the JEE Mains or Advanced. Those who are preparing for these exams can easily attempt the COMEDK exam because of overlapping of syllabus.

As you know, there is no slot booking for both these exams. COMEDK 2026 was conducted on May 9th in three shifts. The TS EAMCET exam was scheduled from May 9 to 11. In case of a clash you can send an email to the TG EAPCET authorities and ask for a revision of your TS EAMCET exam dates. This way, you can give both exams.
