Yes you can. You need to qualify certain exams if you want a seat in renowned colleges or university. You should have minimum 50% in 12th (any stream) to do BCA. Some colleges prefer students who have studied Mathematics till 12th class whereas there are some colleges which give admission to those who had opted Arts or Commerce. If you are taking drop remember this your precious 1 Year would be wasted. You have to keep in mind the approach towards CAT should to aiming top 20 B-schools. For that you have to work extremely hard. Your one year drop should be effective utilization of the time to crack. If you think you can do it take a drop. If you can't then continue with regular work.

I don't think so. It is not a good idea of pursuing UG course through distance mode. I suggest you to go for a regular BBA.

Yes, you can do because B.Sc. Economics Hons Programme, it is a commerce base Programme. Only a Bsc tag name doesn't give it a science base Programme. Most of Universities offer economics Hons programme Programme to students with subjects like Maths or economics.
