Yes, it can be conisdered a bit tactical to to get into K J Somaiya College of Science and Commerce.
The college considers past academics, extra-curricular activities, and past academics for shortlisting candidates. For the 2024 MBA admission, the college is based on CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ NMAT scores. The CAT cutoff is 83 percentile, XAT cutoff is 70 percentile, NMAT cutoff is 222, CMAT cutoff is 98 percentile, and GMAT cutoff is 500.

The admission process at MIT Arts, Commerce and Scienceas follows:
- You must have passed 10+2 or it's equivalent with mathematics as a compulsory subject.

The undergraduate degrees include BTech programmes and will require the students to go through a freshmore curriculum with core engineering courses including Physics.
