Choosing a university is a big decision and a very difficult task, as our career depends upon that. Both the universities are doing equally good but here I would prefer LPU. There are several reasons for the same.
To commence with the curriculum, all the subjects you are going to study, their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and the syllabus is vetted by company officials. Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they offer cybersecurity, IoT, data science, machine learning, and many more. Moreover, they give you the option for pathway elective that whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur.
In addition to it, the classes you have to attend regularly. They did not compromise with the academics of the students. If any faculty is on leave, the classes are either adjusted or makeup lectures are planned.
The University also provides the option of credit transfer and international exposure to its students.
If I talk about the placements, the preparation for placements starts from the very first year. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 30 LPA. More than 700 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 6-10 LPA. Every year visiting companies escalate in number and till date University has recorded the highest placements in North India.
So, you should choose LPU for pursuing B.Tech (CSE).
