Depending upon your ranking you will be called for either phase 1 or phase 2 counselling and the category system start from the Phase 2 counselling. After all the seats in Phase 1 counselling ( 1 to 20000 rank ) are filled, phase 2 counselling starts. Some seats are left for each category with and increase in the tuition fee. The category 1 fee is generally around 1.9 to 2 Lacs per annum and the category 2 fees is about 2.5 Lacs per annum.

Hi. VIT Vellore officials do not release any VITEEE cutoff data for the past years. However, as per the data collated from multiple sources regarding VITEEE 2020 cutoff, here are a few important highlights and predictions for VITEEE 2021 cutoff:
VIT (most probably) will call the first 20,000 rank holders of VITEEE 2021 for phase-1 of counselling which will start from July 2021 onward
This deemed university uses equating methodology to calculate candidates marks
Candidates with a score of 118 or above are likely to fall between 1-250 rank range
Those with less than 31 marks are expected to have a rank of 20,000 or below.

Dear Sai Rama, I have no idea about the CSE programme at VIT Chennai or SRM (Campus) but being alumni of LPU I can share information about this programme at LPU with you. I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Hello Animesh, I think getting CSE in VIT Vellore with your rank is a little bit difficult. However, you may get if you wait and try till last counselling. CSE in other VIT Branches is quite good. Good Luck !

SRM-Chennai as first preference. It is one of the reputed private colleges. It is best in every context whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. If we compare it with other SRM branches then SRM-Chennai

SRM KTR Chennai is better as it has good infrastructure, professors with good teaching methodology, ranking and placements are also good.
