The integrated M.Tech in CSE in VIT Vellore may require a rank of under 1500 in the VITEEE to be eligible for getting a seat at the Vellore Institute Of Technology. Anything above the rank is considered to be less chance of getting placed in the Integrated M.Tech in VIT Vellore.

You can get a seat in Computer Science and Engineering even at 12000 rank in Vellore campus but you will have to pay the category 5 fee that is 5 Lacs per annum while if you come under 3000 rank you would be placed under category 1 that has a fee structure of 2 Lacs per annum. And other states that you can definitely get CSE in VIT Vellore main campus as well as in Chennai campus. Getting CSE in category 1 will be difficult for Vellore campus but you can get category 1 CSE seat in VIT Chennai. You can also get CSE in VIT Vellore in 2nd category. The tuition fee for category 1 is around 1.98LPA and for category 2 it is around 3LPA. I ho

Rank upto 9000 will land you with CSE in VIT, Vellore and upto 12000 in VIT Chennai in first category. Otherwise you can pay more and get in 2nd category. You should get a score approximately 90 marks to definitely get CSE branch at VIT Vellore. Although, it will depend on the overall performance by the students.

Perfect Answer does not Exist! You cannot get into CSE, mechanical, and the most number of seats are for ECE. Other departments seats would be present in category 3 or 4. Some departments like civil and chemical engineering will be available and nowadays category 5 is not available.

Depending upon your ranking you will be called for either phase 1 or phase 2 counselling and the category system start from the Phase 2 counselling. After all the seats in Phase 1 counselling ( 1 to 20k rank ) are filled, phase 2 counselling starts. Some seats are left for each category with and increase in the tuition fee. The category 1 fee is generally around 1.9 to 2 Lacs per annum and the category 2 fees is about 2.5 Lacs per annum.

Congratulations on your rank. I know it is much but it is definitely way more than what I got in the year 2022 which was 29000 something. Happily studying CSE in VIT Chennai. Alas! My parents pay a huge amount of the third category every year, but I tell them that it is worth it and I am doing better. So yes, you can get CSE in maybe the 2nd or 3rd category but not the 1st for sure.

Hello Kewal Krishan Garg, your ranking is reasonably good. I feel thstvwuth this ranking you have a fair chance of getting admission in your desired branch. But I really do not comprehend as to how will you be able to complete admission process if you are unable to take part in counseling. Perhaps you can communicate with VIT and get some answers. Best wishes to you.
