Computer Science and Engineering Placement

The job scope after doing Diploma and engineering in CSE is same as others. You have to be good at the fundamentals and the basics or else getting a job is not possible. You could do certain certified courses along with your engineering like cloud computing or data Science or SEO (search engine optimization) which is becoming popular now. Also, if possible try to improve your vocabulary skills in English as that has become a must. Spoken English classes are easily available now a days. Of course, if you think your English is up to the mark, that's not an issue. You could also learn a foregin language. That really makes your profile outstanding as compared to others.

Having a score in the 23.6 percentile in JEE Main makes it challenging to secure admission to a top college for computer Science and engineering (CSE) with 100% placement. However, it is not impossible. Here are some steps you can take to increase your chances of getting into a good college:
Consider other entrance exams: Some colleges have their own entrance exams in addition to JEE Main and you may be able to secure admission through those exams. Research colleges that offer CSE programs and find out if they have any other entrance exams you can take. Focus on your performance in other areas: Colleges look at a variety of factors when considering applicants, not just JEE Main scores. If you have strong grades in your school exams, extracurricular activities, or a talent in a particular area, make sure to highlight those on your application. Apply to colleges that consider other factors: Some colleges place more weight on factors like grades, extracurricular activities, and interview performance, and may be more willing to admit students with lower JEE Main scores. Do your research and find out which colleges have a more holistic admissions process. Consider alternative programs: If you are unable to secure admission to a CSE programme, consider exploring alternative programs in related fields, such as information technology or electronics and communication engineering. Prepare well for the next JEE Main exam: If you plan to take the JEE Main exam again, use the time between exams to focus on your studies and improve your score. Consider seeking help from a teacher or tutor if you need it. I do not know about the academics in CS. I was from another department. If you choose CS you will definitely get placed, given that you are famous in the college I mean, you should hangout with professors, host programs etc. Yes you will have to pay the college 20 to 25% of your CTC package if I am not wrong. They will have you take a compulsory training before placements and you will have to cough up some 8 to 10k. This is when NHCE was under VTU after they bought the Autonomous status, it is at least ten fold now. Fines for not wearing ID cards is the only place they looted me. Yes, they are money minded. Rumour is that they encroached an adjacent community and built the college in their premises. The fees is high and the quality of education is satisfactory. It is more business than education. There is a lot of partiality and double standards among students and departments. To sum up, they do snatch your money, but if you know how to duck it, you are fine.

Not good enough. Number of companies visited here were very less. Maximum students had to go for off campus placement. Companies which visited here is listed below (my answer may be biased as I am from CSE dept. And I am sharing as much as I know) :
TCS came and selected almost 130 people from various department with package of 3.2 LPA. Then Dynamic Digital Technology came and selected only 6 people with an avg package of 5.2 LPA (all the 6 students got tcs also). Bengal Beverages came and took some mechanical guys. Few companies also came later and selected students from ECE, electrical and mech. Some students got an offer from off campus also. I was selected in tcs and dynamic digital technology. This is all about the placement of kgec 2021.
