BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) → Yes, commerce students are eligible. Even if you studied commerce in 12th, most universities allow BCA admission provided you had Mathematics or Computer Science as one subject in 12th. Some private universities even relax this requirement.

Yes, AI and automation will and have affected jobs in the IT sector. This has already affected BCA graduates in both good and bad ways. Routine tasks do not require much human input these days.
