To be eligible for BCA, students must have Class 12 marksheet from a recognised board with a good aggregate score. Additionaly, students must appear for the CET exam and score good. The college offers entrance admission. Students must meet the eligibility criteria and simply apply online for the same for admission.

The entrance exam which you have to give for BCA is SNUET and the syllabus contains subjects like maths, physics, and chemistry along with basic english, logical reasoning, and genral knowledge questions. Subject wise syllabus contains all the topics which we have prepared in our 11th and 12th standard.

Government College, Solan offers a 3 years Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) course at the UG level. Candidate passed 12th/equivalent conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education or an examination accepted as equivalent thereto are eligible to apply. The official timetable is present on the official website of Government College, Solan. Still, if you cannot find it, you are advised to caontact the respective department of the college for accurate details.

The BCA course offered at GLBIM is three years. The course is spread over six semesters. Besides, candidates also need to pass Class 12 with a minimum 45% aggregate (General/OBC category). The minimum aggregate required for the SC and ST categories is 40%. Candidates must have Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Class 12.
