One must pass Class 12 with Maths/ Computer Science/ Information Practice/ Computer Applications/ Multimedia & Web Technology/ Data Management/ Application/ Web Application (provision of a bridge course in Maths available for non-Maths background applicants) to apply for the BCA course. Candidates passing Class 12 with at least 80% aggregate are eligible for direct admission to BCA course. Additionally, admission to BCA is based on merit in the last qualifying exam or CUET UG score. As soon as the selection rounds are over, candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the college. The total tuition fee for BCA is INR 4.

Yes, BCA is a three-year course divided into six semesters. Amity University Mumbai offers BCA through the Amity Institute of Information Technology. To apply for MCA at GLA University, students have to qualify for all the selection parameters for GLA University MCA admission, which is inclusive of fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria and qualifying for the university-level entrance exam. Candidates are eligible to take admission to BCA without being from Mathematics backgrounds. Even those from Humanities and Medical background are eligible for BCA. But for MCA, Mathematics in Class 12 or UG-level is the minimum requirement.
