Thapar University offers an MCA course at the postgraduate level. TIET MCA course is spread over a period of two years consisting of four semesters. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the Deemed-to-be University to apply online. Thapar University MCA admission is completely merit-based and depends' on candidates' performance in their last qualifying examinations, including Class 10, 12 and graduation. Apart from the marks secured in the last qualifying exams, students are also required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria for Thapar University MCA admission.

Thapar University offers a two-year MCA course at the postgraduate level in a full-time mode. To be eligible for Thapar University MCA admission, candidates must have a bachelor's degree of a minimum 3 years duration in any discipline from a recognised University with a minimum aggregate of 60% (55% for SC/ST) in aggregate. For TIET MCA admission, it is also mandatory that a student must have studied Mathematics at Class 12 level or at the graduation level.
