Institute of Science and Technology offers a four-year BTech programme at the UG level with an annual seat intake of 540 students, including all eight specialisations. Admission to the programme is based on WBJEE rank, followed by WBJEE Counselling. The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of WBJEE result to manage the seat allotment process. The seat allotment process is based on the college cutoff and the candidate's preference for courses and colleges. The cutoffs are generally declared in three rounds of WBJEE Counselling with opening and closing ranks for each of the BTech specialisations. The cutoffs are further divided into All-India and Home State quota ranks across multiple categories, such as Open, SC, ST, OBC, TF, etc.
