The placement situation for students of Chandigarh University (CU) doing MCA Cloud Computing & DevOps is — somewhat mixed. There are good signs, but also some caveats. Here's how things fare, based on recent data and student‑reports.

According to sources, the MCA programme — including the Cloud‑Computing & DevOps stream — is among the branches for which IT‑sector placements are claimed. Reported roles include Cloud/DevOps, software engineer, data‑oriented roles, etc. 

CU promotes strong infrastructure and “industry‑integrated curriculum” (labs, electives relevant to modern IT) for MCA, which helps prepare students for cloud/DevOps, AI, data‑science, etc.

CSJMU offers BCA with relatively low fees (state‑university fee scale), which makes it affordable compared to many private colleges. 

Course is structured (6‑semester, standard BCA syllabus: programming, maths, IT, etc.) under its regular scheme (or distance / open‑learning for those who need flexibility).

There are many seats available across campus + affiliated colleges → perhaps easier for admission (less competition than top‑tier / central universities).

If you are budget‑conscious, or coming from nearby region (UP), CSJMU can be a practical choice.

What Allahabad University offers (or could offer) for BCA

AU's BCA programme is reputed to have fairly good placement outcomes (or at least there are claims of good placement records): some sources report ~ 75% placement rate, the highest salary up to ~ ₹ 34 LPA, average around ₹ 8–9 LPA. 

Because AU is a well‑known, “older” central/university‑level institution (with legacy, reputation), its degree may carry more weight for some companies or higher studies — which could help if you aim for big recruiters or postgraduate studies.

The BCA curriculum and campus environment might be more stable (depending on department), and there may be better exposure/peer‑group than at a typical state‑university private/affiliated campus.

To apply for MCA at MNNIT Allahabad, you must satisfy the following:

You must hold a bachelor's degree (from a recognised university) such as B.Sc, BCA, BIT, or B.E./B.Tech — provided the degree included relevant subjects as required. 

Your bachelor's degree must have included Mathematics (or Statistics / Business‑Mathematics / Computer‑Math equivalent) as one of the subjects (either at graduation or earlier, as per rules). 

You need to have obtained at least 60% aggregate marks in graduation to be eligible. 

You must appear for (and qualify in) the entrance exam: NIMCET (NIT‑MCA Common Entrance Test). Admission to MCA at MNNIT is based on NIMCET merit.
