Of course, an arts student can even go for a BCA program, as they may not have mathematics in their 12th grade. Institutions prefer to take students of arts and other streams into consideration as well, considering their aggregate percentage.
However, there are colleges that may have specific prerequisites; for instance, they may demand subjects such as computer Science or informatics practices in lieu of mathematics. Additionally, entrance exams may be necessary from the students that focus on aptitude rather than advanced mathematics.

Yes, admission for the BCA course at D.Y. Patil International University is open. To be eligible for admission to the course, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for the MHT CET exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course. Admission through the exams is closed now. However, direct admissions are currently open.
