General Eligibility for MCA After B.Com
Most universities require:
- A bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
- Mathematics as a subject in:
- 10+2 level, or
- graduation level.
So, if you completed B.Com and had Mathematics in Class 12, you are usually eligible for MCA admission in many universities.
If You Did Not Study Mathematics
Some universities:
- offer bridge/foundation mathematics courses,
- allow admission with additional qualifying subjects,
- or provide relaxed eligibility criteria in online/distance modes.
However, some institutions may not allow direct admission without Mathematics.

Nowadays, many girls are choosing BCA because the IT field of a good career opportunities in areas like software development, Data analytics, web development, cyber security, and more. Before taking admission you can also visit the campus or connect with current students to understand the environment better.

With a 1145 rank, you may have a good chance of getting a CSE seed depending on the college, category reservation, and cutoff trends of that year. It also depends on how many counselling grounds are conducted, I would suggest participating in all counselling round because many students get seats in letter rounds as well. Keep backup branches and colleges ready too so that you have more option during admission
