The Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences (CIDS) offers limited scholarship opportunities specifically for undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program. However, most scholarships are merit-based, depending on the student's performance in the NEET exam and academic excellence. Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences is competitive but not overly difficult if you meet the eligibility criteria
Eligibility: You need to pass 12th-grade exams with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, & also in English.
Entrance Exam: Admission is based on the NEET-UG score (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). Like other dental schools in India. The difficulty depends on how well you perform in NEET compared to other applicants.
Seats and Reservations: Availability of seats and category-based reservations (SC, ST, OBC, etc.) might also influence the admission process.
