Eligibility Criteria for MDS :-
- Candidates should have completed their Undergraduate Dental education in India from a dental college/institute duly recognised as per the provisions of the Dentists’s Act,1948.
- Completed Compulsory Rotatory Internship by 31st march of current year.
- Obtained permanent registration with the Dental Council of India or any of the State Dental Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of admission.
- Qualified in NEET - MDS.

Yes, but the candidate needs to be qualified in NEET-MDS.
Eligibility Criteria is as follows :-

Duration : 4 years with 1 year Internship.
Eligibility Criteria is as follows :-
- The candidate must have completed 17 Years of age at the time of admission or shall complete this age as on the 31st December of the Admission Year.
- Have passed the Karnataka II PUC examination or an equivalent examination in CBSE, ICSE or State Boards with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages.
- Have secured 50% Marks in these three subjects and English taken together.
However, for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, the minimum marks are 40%. - Admission to the course shall be based on National Eligib

The MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery course has a duration of six semesters. Each semester focuses on the specialties that have been selected by students and how medical surgery can be used to manage the problem, as well as identifying other conditions, and offering a diagnosis. This programme is credited with nine specialisation subjects.The curriculum of this course is designed to facilitate improved learning in terms of clinical, academic and inter-personal skills for various occupational requirements within OMF departments. Placement Experience: The job opportunities are pretty good. Most of us are working in hospitals, abroad overall we have very good job opportunities
Internship Opportunities: There are no stipends in the college for Dental students. You can attend your internship because it is mandatory. You can learn extra things other than your undergraduate syllabus. You need to do some projects and other works.
Our course Bachelor in dental Science need prior internship before we are to start working independently so after our four years course we have a one year internship at the college dental hospital itself and is paid reasonably.
