Following is the full rule for taking admission in ICWAI
The course structure of ICWAI consists of 3 levels. -Foundation
-Intermediate
-Final
The candidates can join this course 12th class as the minimum academic qualification. Candidates who have completed Graduation can also join this course. If the candidate want to join this course after completion of 12th class, then he has to complete all the 3 levels. But if the candidate is interested to join thsi course on the basis of Graduation, then he can directly join Intermediate level. Hi,
Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is mandatory for the following:
Students who have qualified Higher Secondary examination. Candidates who possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline. Candidates who hold a master's degree in any discipline.
Candidates who possess any professional qualification.
So, as you can see, Common Proficiency Test is mandatory for every individual willing to pursue Chartered Accountancy course and will remain so unless the proposal is approved by the union government. If you score then 55% in your commerce graduation, you can directly go to Inter CA. If you have done other than commerce graduation, then min 60% is required. Thanks.

You can either pursue M.Com or MBA-finance after your graduation. Alternatively, there are other emerging courses that you can pursue along with your current graduation which include:
1. Certified Bank Manager Programme: A 2-year course covering the areas of banking and financial services, money, banking laws and regulations, treasury, credit, risk management and banking strategy. The course is offered by the Institute of Bank Management and Research (IBMR), Hyderabad. 2.
