As per the official website, stipend of a JRF selected through CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) will be Rs 37,000/ p.m for the first two years. In addition, annual contingent grant of Rs. 20,000/- per fellow will also be provided to the fellow.

There is no limit in the number of attempts for CSIR NET. As long as the eligibility is met, students can appear for CSIR NET. However, it is important to note that rules and regulations may change from time to time, so candidates must check the official sources for the most relevant and latest information. The basic educational qualification for CSIR NET is that students must have obtained a degree in BTech/BE/BPharma/MBBS with a minimum 55% from a recognized university.

Yes, it is crucial to know that there is a negative marking in the CSIR NET exam. If a student has attempted a wrong question in Part B, 25% dedication will done. 33% will dedicated to Part C of the Earth Sciences Paper.
