CSJMU conducts an Online Entrance Test to offer admission in all the UG and PG level courses. Candidates applying for PG programmes also need to appear for a round of counselling conducted by the University, after the completion of the entrance test.

Cutoff of csjmu Kanpur is different every year. In 2021 for general category 1-30 rank, for obc
31-120, for sc and st category 120 to 200 that are rank of category wise for the students.
