In the first year of CSJMU BA Economics, students study Microeconomics in first semester and Macroeconomics in the second semester. The first and second semester will have four units each. Below are the name of the units:

The reservation of seats to SC, ST, OBC, Differently Abled candidates, EWS and dependents of Army personnels shall be governed by prevailing Uttar Pradesh State Government orders/as per rules laid down by CSJM University. There are a total of 390 seats for BTech course in campus and affiliated colleges. Candidates can get a seat in BTech programme of CSJMU based on their CUET-UG or JEE Main score.

Yes, CSJM University accepts JEE Main for admission to BTech programme. NTA conducts JEE Main twice a year in January and April in computer-based mode. After appearing for the exam, candidates must register for the CSJMU BTech counselling for seat allocation. After completion of the selection process, a merit list is released with the names of shortlisted aspirants. Shortlisted aspirants are called for document verification.

BTech is one of the top courses of CSJMU. Candidates have an option to pursue BTech in any one of the six specialisations, namely Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (AI),  Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, Chemical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board/ organisation with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to apply for CSJMU BTech programme. The fulfilment of eligibility criteria is necessary for application form acceptance. However, the seat allotment is based on the selection criteria.  Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.

CSJMU offers admission to BTech programme based on entrance exam score. Candidates are first required to apply for BTech at CSJMU official website. The selection for BTech course is based on JEE Main or merit in the last qualifying exam. After completion of the selection process, a merit list is released with the names of shortlisted aspirants. Once the selection rounds are over, shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants must confirm their seat with the course fee to avoid rejection.
