Scope for this course is mostly the same for countries around the world:
State department is responsible for IT SEC and Cyber Security on national level (such as Indian CSIRT under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology). People responsible for IT SEC in all state departments, overview of them. See at Government of India Web Directory.
State departments responsible for critical infrastructure and its protection.
Ministry of Defence, partially Ministry of Law and Justice, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ministry of Science and Technology. Private companies developing, selling or implementing IT SEC or CYBER SEC

You should be able to navigate to a college of your choice using the filters on the web page. Additionally, you can also download the college brochure which contains necessary information regarding placements and placement records of the institute over the past few years, and important fee structures for the institute.

It's a regular course and even if some of the institutes are offering it through distance, it will be always be beneficial to go with the regular course
