If I may make a suggestion, I would consider looking into pursuing an Advanced Professional Graduate Program in Data Science and Machine Learning online (Full-Time). In recent years, several trustworthy online resources have made this possible, including LinkedIn Learning, SimpliLearn, and the National Institute of Information Technology. NIIT has a stellar reputation, thus I would recommend them. Their training is often updated to reflect developments in the field. Their expert professors teach students anything from how to use Python for programming to how to set up and configure Linux.

Data Scientist is a technical course and involves use of subjects like Machine Learning, Data Analytics, python etc. A student with B.Tech / B.E. Or M.Tech / M.E. Degrees is generally preferred. The mode of admission into M.Sc. Data Science is you have to clear your UG from any recognised university and then you have to attend for entrance exams like IIT JAM ITM NEST IPU CET with a minimum 50 percentage and then based on the merit and Personal Interview you'll get admission into college.
