Candidates must have passed Diploma or equivalent exam. Candidates with a minimum of 45% marks in the 5th and 6th semesters combined are eligible to fill the applications respectively. The minimum percentage mark for SC/ST candidates is 40%. .

This exam is perhaps a must for lateral admission. However, some colleges may admit students in the lateral mode under the management quota without this exam. In such cases, no NOC is required from any board. Your diploma certificate is enough.
