Minimum 50% in their 12th standard Examination from any recognised board of education. Candidates must have completed their 12th grade in any discipline from a recognised board. A minimum of 50-60% in class 12th is required for applicants. Humanities/arts candidates are given preference in some colleges. Check the university's website before applying.

Candidates seeking admission to DU SOL BA course must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination from a single recognised board. For SOL BA (Hons) admission, students need to pass Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 65%. It is also necessary that the aspirant hold the pass certificate to become eligible for admission.

Shivaji College BSc admission is entrance-based. Shivaji College accepts CUET UG scores for admission to its undergraduate courses. Candidates seeking admission to BSc at Shivaji College are required to pass the Class 12 exam. In order to get admission in Shivaji College for the BSc and BSc (Hons) programmes, candidates have to clear CUET exam. Candidates must appear in CUET exam only in those subjects which he or she has cleared Class 12. Admission to BSc at Shivaji College is done on the basis of merit in the CUET exam. In order to get admission to this course, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirements as per the CUET and appear for the entrance exam.
